Performance Rules:

• 10 minutes for the performance, with an additional 10 minutes allocated for setup and preparation.Total 20 minute stage time.
• There will be a 5-point penalty for every minute overspent on stage after 10 minutes.
• The performance must include songs in at least two different languages.
• Performances should incorporate songs from at least two distinct musical genres.
• Bands must also incorporate an original composition (instrumental and/ or vocal).
• There is no cap on the number of compositions or songs that can be performed within the 10-minute window.
• Time stamp of the original composition is to be given during the registration slot on event day.
• Number of Performers: 4-8.
• Eligibility – Closed event (High School and College/University Students)

General Rules:

• No profanity will be tolerated in song choices. Any act of profanity will lead to a 5 point reduction.
• The song list is to be sent for verification to musicclub@flame.edu.in (failure to do this will lead to a 5-point penalty). The song list needs to be shared at least 48 hours before the event.
• Failure of on time track submission will lead to a 5 point deduction.

Evaluation Criteria:

1. Instrumental Precision: Tone, accuracy, and execution of instrumental parts.

2. Vocal Precision: Pitch, clarity, and accuracy of vocal performance.

3. Arrangement & Complexity: The complexity of chosen songs and original composition,

quality of arrangement, and effective blending of different genres and musical elements.

4. Stage Presence & Showmanship: Confidence, charisma, and overall impact of the

performance on the audience.

5. Band Chemistry: Cohesion, chemistry, and teamwork among the band.
