Step-off (Western Group Dance)

Event Guidelines:

  • Eligibility – Closed event (High School and College/University Students)
  • Number of participants per team: 10 (minimum) to 18 (maximum).
  • The duration of each performance should be 6 minutes (minimum) to 8 minutes (maximum). 3 points will be deducted for not adhering to it.
  • The total performance duration should not exceed the time limit. You will be provided with a total of 2 minutes for both setup and windup inclusive.
  • At least 5 people should be present on the stage at all times.
  • During your set, you must use at least 2 different props. Together, the props should be used for at least 40 seconds in total. Failure to do so will result in 5 point deduction.
  • All teams have to ensure that there is no use of obscenity, vulgarity or any inappropriate exposure. Any involvement of the above mentioned will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Audios of the final performance by each team have to be submitted to danceclub@flame.edu.in 48 hours prior to the event. Please rename the audio file in this format: StepOff 2026_University Name_Crew Name(if any). Any delay will result in a deduction of points. (2 points will be deducted for each day).
  • Usage of fire and profanity in clothing will be strictly prohibited. Ensure wearing appropriate costumes in order to avoid wardrobe malfunction on stage. Wardrobe malfunction includes exposing nipples and flashing on stage. Failure to adhere to this will lead to 3 points deduction.
  • The audios should not contain any abusive words. Failure to do so will lead to a 2 points deduction.
  • Not clearing up the stage post performance will lead to a 2 points deduction.

Cash Prize:

  • Winner: 13,000/-
  • First Runner Up: 8000/-
