General Rules:
- Each team must register only once. Once registered, teams are not allowed to withdraw from the event.
- After registration, teams cannot be altered. No additions or changes to team members will be allowed.
- The decision of the Organizing Committee will be final and binding.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify rules or structure depending on the
- number of participants or logistical requirements.
- All participants must maintain discipline and decorum during the event. Disrespect towards other participants, the auctioneer, or the organizing team may result in disqualification.
Auction Rules:
- All bids must be placed clearly and audibly when the auctioneer calls for them. Late or unclear bids may not be accepted.
- Unsportsmanlike behavior, collusion, or attempts to manipulate the bidding process will lead to immediate disqualification.Â
- Each team will receive a virtual budget of ₹100 crores at the beginning of the auction.
- Every player in the auction pool will have a base price of ₹50 lakhs.
- Star Player will have a different base price.
- Bidding for each player will start at their base price and proceed in multiples of ₹5 lakhs.
- Bidding for each star player will start at their base price and proceed in multiples of ₹50 lakhs.
- The auctioneer will control the pace of bidding and announce each player one by one.
- Teams must strategically bid within their ₹100 crore budget to build their squad. No additional funds will be provided.
- Each team must complete a squad of 11 main players and can choose up to 4 substitutes,making a total of 15 players.
- Teams must maintain a balanced composition, it is advisable to include a mix of batters, bowlers, all-rounders, and wicket-keepers.
- Once the hammer goes down, the player is sold to the highest bidder, and the amount is deducted from that team’s total purse. Once sold, a player cannot be re-auctioned or exchanged.
- After the auction concludes, all teams’ final squads will be evaluated using the Team
- Performance Score (TPS) to determine the winners. (A mix of player’s performance and funds spent on the player) And remember: expect the unexpected!
Judging Criteria:
- Teams will be evaluated based on their Team Performance Score (TPS), which measures both player quality and spending efficiency.
- Teams that assemble strong, balanced squads without overspending will score higher.
- The participant or team with the highest TPS will be declared the winner.
- In case of a tie, the team with the most balanced composition (batters, bowlers, all-rounders, wicket-keepers) will be given preference.
