Tournament Format
Format: Single Round Robin
Match Duration: 1 period of 10 minutes, or first to 21 points (sudden death rule in regulation time; overtime until 2 points scored)
Team Size: 4 players (3 active + 1 substitute; 2 reserves allowed — reserves will not receive certificates or awards)

Category and Eligibility:
- Must represent an undergraduate or postgraduate level collegiate institution.
- Must be born on or before 31.12.2007.
- Must be born on or after 01.01.2001.
- Squad Size: 4 players [Mandatory]. 2 extra Players can be brought as reserves in case of injury. However these reserves will not receive any certificates or awards.
Tournament Format:
- League-cum knockout format, where each team will play all other teams in their pool in a double round-robin format. Pool toppers will proceed to the knockout stage, in a do-or-die format.
- Quarter-Finals will be held based on the number of registrations received.
Rules and Regulations:
- Original government identification card of every player is required along with their Original Aadhar cards. Not presenting an ID before the match will lead to disqualifying the player from participating. If the team fails to show all required documents, the team/player will not be allowed to participate.
- Teams are not allowed to switch players after having played the first match of the tournament. If any players are found to have been replaced without prior information to relevant authorities, the team will be disqualified from the tournament. If a team attempts to play with more than 4 players, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.
- All FIBA 3×3 rules will be followed during this tournament including the following:
- Each team will field a maximum of 4 players (3 on court, 1 substitute), and a minimum of 3 players.
- A size 6 ball will be used for the tournament.
- The game consists of 1 period of 10 minutes. The first team to score 21 points or more wins the game if it happens before the end of regular playing time (“sudden death” rule). This rule applies only during regular playing time and not to potential overtime. If the score is tied at the end of the 10 minute time period, the game moves into overtime. In that case, there will be no time limit, and the first team to score 2 points will have won the game.
- A field goal scored within the 3-point arc counts as 1 point, and one that is scored from beyond the arc will count as 2 points.
- The possession will alternate after each scored basket, and the ball must be cleared beyond the arc on each change of possession.
- FIBA 3×3 rules apply to personal fouls.
- The game clock shall be stopped during dead ball situations and free throws. The game clock shall be restarted when:
- During a check-ball, the ball is at the disposal of the offensive player after the check-ball has been completed.
- After a successful last free throw, the next offensive team is in possession of the ball.
- After an unsuccessful last free throw and the ball continues to be live, the ball touches or is touched by any player on the playing court.
IMPORTANT:
- If a player is found to be in inappropriate attire, he/she will NOT be allowed to play
- Interested players must fill in the registration form in order to participate in the league. Last minute entries will NOT be entertained
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will NOT be tolerated at any instance throughout the event. Any player or team found to be in violation of any rules or conduct will be disqualified or penalized as deemed fit by the Executive Committee of the FLAME Basketball Club, in association with the relevant Committee Heads from the FLAME Kurukshetra management.
- The referees’ decision will be final with no provision to challenge. If the team decides to protest, a protest fee of Rs. 2,000/- will be charged.
- Non-marking shoes are mandatory.
