Description: The Futsal Tournament will be organised as part of Kurukshetra 2026 and will comprise of knockout matches conducted in accordance with official futsal regulations. Certified referees will oversee all matches to ensure adherence to safety and fairness standards.

Men’s Tournament
- Format: Knockout (16 Teams)
- Match Duration: 40 minutes (Two Halves – 20 minutes each)
- Team Size: 12 (5 players + 7 reserves)
Women’s Tournament
- Format: Knockout (8 Teams)
- Match Duration: 30 minutes (Two Halves – 15 minutes each)
- Team Size: 12 (5 players + 7 reserves) [Subject to Change]

- Registration Fee (Per Team): Rs 2000
- Note – All registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Women’s Tournament

Key Rules:
- Four Seconds – A player has 4 seconds to restart play or possession goes to the other team. A goalkeeper is not allowed possession of the ball for more than 4 seconds during play.
- 5 Metres – Defending players are required to keep 5 metres distance from the ball during the restart of play.
Off-Game Rules
Before the Game:
- Each team should report 45 minutes prior to their match.
- Any team showing up 10 mins late after the start time, will result in a walkover to the opponent team.
- No dissent by word or action will be tolerated against anyone.
- No player should be wearing glasses, please ensure the players wear contact lenses.
After the Game:
- After the match, the dug-out has to be vacated immediately.
- After the match, the field needs to be evacuated within 10 minutes.
Rules Regarding Documents
- Each player is expected to present a hard copy of their college identification/age proof each tournament day.
- Every player’s hard copy Original College Identification Card, Original Government ID and Bonafide Certificate proof are required.
- Each team’s Team Roster on College Letterhead has to be provided, signed by the concerned authorities.
- Not bringing or not presenting the hard copy of the IDs before the match will lead to disabling the player from participating.
- The team is required to bring the Fee Receipt for every match.
- If the team fails to show what’s mentioned above, the team/player will not be allowed to participate.
- Documents should be sent before the deadline given to them by the committee. Any requests for the change of the game should be made a week before the first matchday.
- Following the above rule, any request should be sent to the following mail: footballclub@flame.edu.in.
- Fixtures will be sent on time and are subject to change under the jurisdiction of the committee.
- In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizers of the tournament shall be considered final.
- Conduct & Discipline

- Warning, Penalty & Disqualification Criteria: No player can participate from two teams. Should this occur, it would lead to the disqualification of both teams.
- Equipment & Facilities
- Provided by FLAME Kurukshetra Organising Committee: FLAME Kurukshetra will provide match balls.
- To Be Brought by Participants: Each team has to get their personal kits.
- Gear Restrictions: It is highly imperative that your team follows the correct dress code as players may not be allowed to play in cases seen in inappropriate clothing, especially shoes.

- Match Officials Present: Umpires
- Dispute Procedure: Umpires decision is final.
- Finality Clause: All decisions by the officials and FLAME Kurukshetra organising committee are final.
- Medical & Safety Guidelines
- On-Site Medical Support: A Physio with a basic Medical Kit will be available on the ground during the match at all times. Infirmary and Ambulance services are available in case of severe injuries.
