The Team Squash event at FLAME Kurukshetra 2026 will feature Men’s and Women’s team categories in singles format. Each team will consist of 3 players (2 playing + 1 substitute). The tournament will be held over 2 days in a knockout format, with each match lasting 15–20 minutes. All matches will be played as per official WSF Singles Rules to maintain fairness and competitive standards.

1. Tournament Format

• Format: Knockout
• Match Duration: 15–20 minutes
• Team Size: 4 players (3 playing + 1 substitute)
• Max Entries Per Institution: 2 team per category
• Minimum Registrations: 4 teams per category
• Scoring: Best of 5 games, 11 points each (win by 2 points)
• Seeding: Based on SRFI rankings

2. Registration Details

• Registration Fee: ₹1600 per team
• Last Date for Registration: To be announced

• Note: All registration fees are non-refundable.

3. Prize Structure

Men’s Team – ₹6000 for Winners and ₹3000 for Runners-up
Women’s Team – ₹6000 for Winners and ₹3000 for Runners-up

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Open To: University participants only
• ID Requirement: Valid College ID mandatory
• Age Limit: Open to all (No age limit)

6. Conduct & Discipline

• Reporting Time: 30 minutes before match
• Walkover: Player absent 15 minutes post match time forfeits match
• Prohibited Behaviour:
  • Disrespecting officials or opponents
  • Profane or vulgar remarks
  • Disruptive shouting or distractions
• Penalties:
  • Physical fights, forged ID, or equipment tampering → Direct disqualification

7. Equipment & Facilities

• Provided: Match balls
• To Be Brought: Racquets, non-marking shoes
• Gear Restriction: Eye-wear mandatory for players below 18

8. Refereeing & Decision Protocol

• Officials: 1 referee + 1 scorekeeper per match
• Disputes: Referee’s decision final; management has ultimate authority

9. Medical & Safety

• Support: On-site ambulance and physiotherapist available
