1. Booking & payment
All registrations are completed online and confirmed only after successful payment. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt.
2. No-refund / No-cancellation policy (Clear statement)
Important: All payments made for registrations, workshops, stalls, sponsorship packages, or other event services are final. Once payment is completed and registration confirmed, Kurukshetra does not provide refunds or permit cancellations under any circumstances, including but not limited to: participant no-shows, change of mind, travel failure, exam or academic schedule conflicts, or personal emergencies. This no-refund policy applies to ticket price, registration fees, and any add-ons. (Event organizers may set stricter/refund policies; platforms often delegate refund decisions to organizers.)Â
3. Event cancellation or significant change by Organizer
If Kurukshetra is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed by the Organizer (e.g., venue change, date change), we will notify registrants and will:
• either issue a full refund to the original payment method, or
• offer credit toward a future edition of Kurukshetra, at the Organizer’s discretion.
(Platforms typically refund when the organizer cancels the event; see industry examples.)Â
4. Partial refunds & exceptions
Because our default position is no refunds, partial refunds will not be provided except where legally required or if Kurukshetra/organizer expressly agrees in writing (for example, a cancelled workshop that we decide to refund). Platform/processing fees may be non-refundable.
5. How to request (if eligible)
If an exceptional refund is to be considered (rare, and at organizer discretion), email [kurukshetra.it@flame.edu.in] with your registration details and supporting documents. Do not treat this as an entitlement—each case is reviewed.
6. Payment disputes & chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may suspend your registration pending investigation. If a chargeback is upheld and we have already provided event services, we reserve the right to pursue recovery.
7. Force majeure
In case of force majeure (natural disaster, government restrictions, epidemic), the Organizer’s liability is limited; refunds are governed by clause 3 above.
