Tournament Format
Format: League-cum-Knockout (subject to change based on the total registrations; fixtures to be announced closer to the event date).
Match Duration: 60 Minutes (10 minutes x 4 quarters + breaks)
Team Size: Minimum 5 players, Maximum 12 players
Maximum Entries Per Institution: One team per category

Men’s Category
- Winner: Rs. 25,000
- Runner Up: Rs. 17,500
Women’s Category
- Winner: Rs. 18,000
- Runner Up: Rs. 13,000
 Category and Eligibility:
- Must represent an undergraduate or postgraduate level collegiate institution.
- Must be born on or before 12.2007.
- Must be born on or after 01.2001.
Squad Size: Minimum 5 players and Maximum 12 players.
Tournament Format:
- Tournament structure will be a league-cum-knockout. However, it is subject to change depending on registrations and participants will be informed of the fixtures closer to the date of the event.
- Men and Women will be playing separatelyÂ
Game Structure:
- Ball size: Size 7 (Men’s Category), Size 6 (Women’s Category)
- Number of periods: 4 Quarters
- Estimated duration of the game: 60 Minutes (10 minutes x 4 + 1 minute x 10 + 2 minutes x 2 + 4 minutes) 2 minutes has been taken as grace time.
- Breaks: 1 minute timeouts (5 per team), 4 minute break between halves, 2 minute break after quarter 1 and 3
- Number of timeouts: 5 per team (2 timeouts in the first half, 3 in the second half), each lasting 1 minute.
Rules and Regulations (Playing):
 All FIBA 5v5 rules will be followed during the tournament including the following:
- Maximum number of fouls per player – 4 (if the maximum foul limit is exceeded the player will be ejected from the game)
- Maximum team fouls – 5 per quarter (if the team exceeds the maximum foul limit per quarter, subsequent fouls will result in penalty free throws)
- The referees’ decision will be the final call, with no provision to challenge. If the team decides to protest, a protest fee of Rs. 2,000 will be charged.
- Managers/Coaches can be ejected from the game if deemed necessary.
- If a player or manager is charged with two technical fouls, he/she will automatically be ejected from the game.
- A flagrant foul can lead to direct ejection from the game based on the degree of the foul.
- In case the match is tied at the end of 4 quarters, overtime of 5 minutes will be introduced till the game is won by either of the teams.
If the player is found to be in inappropriate attire, they will NOT be allowed to play.
Non-Marking shoes are compulsory. Any person with outdoor shoes on court will be asked to leave.

General Important Rules:
- Original Valid government identification card of every player is required along with their Original Aadhar Cards. Any player who does not present a valid ID before the match will be disqualified
- Original College ID Card is mandatory.
- If the teams fail to show all required documents, the FLAME Basketball Club reserves the right to deny participation.
- Each team should report 30 minutes prior to their match.
- Any team showing up 10 minutes late after the start time, the opponent team will be given a walkover.
- No dissent by word or action will be tolerated against anyone.
- After the match is completed, the court must be evacuated within 10 minutes.
- For all matches, ALL FIBA RULES ARE APPLIED.

Participants and audience are expected to maintain decorum whilst the events are being held. Any kind of obscenity, vulgarity or misbehavior will lead to consequences at the discretion of the referees and/or the Organisers. Decision made by the referees and/or the organisation will be formal and binding.
