DESCRIPTION:
Admissions reserved.
Maximum squad size for each team is inclusive of reserve players.
The tournament is going to be held in a knockout format.
Participants and audience are expected to maintain decorum whilst the events are being held.
Any kind of obscenity, vulgarity or misbehavior will not be tolerated and will lead to consequences at the discretion of the referees and/or Organisers.
Decisions made by the referees and/or the organizers will be Formal and Binding.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
It will be a knockout structure. However, it is subject to change depending on registrations and participants will be informed of the fixtures closer to the event. The matches for men and women will be conducted separately. Match length will be two 20-minute time periods with a 7-minute rest in between. The team size has to be 7 players + 7 substitutes, that is, 14 players in total. There is no minimum number of registrations per college/club/institution.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- University and Clubs only (Must represent undergraduate or postgraduate level collegiate institutions or must be part of an external sports club).

Rules Regarding Documents:
- Each player is expected to present their college identification/age proof each day of the tournament.
- Original college identification card of every player is required.
- Not bringing or not presenting an ID before the match will lead to disabling the player from participating. Minimum age for participation is 18 years and above.
- The team is required to bring the fee receipt for every match. If the team fails to show what’s mentioned above, the team/player will not be allowed to participate.
- Documents should be sent before the deadline given to them by the committee.
- Any requests for the change of the game should be told a week prior before the first matchday.

- Fixtures will be sent on time and are subject to change under the jurisdiction of the committee.
MATCH RULES:
Off Game Rules:
- Before the game: Each team should report 30 mins prior to their match.
- Any team showing up 10 mins late after the start time the opponent team will be given a walkover.
- After the game: After the match, the field needs to be evacuated within 10 minutes.
- No dissent by word or action will be tolerated against anyone.
- No player should be wearing glasses, ensure the players wear lenses.
- No player should be wearing chunky accessories, jewellery, and nails must be trimmed short.
IN Game Rules:
Duration of the Game
- Match length: two 20 minute time periods with a 7 minute rest in between. The referee may add time to compensate for stoppages (known as ‘injury time’).
- Any of the two teams reporting late will result in the reduction of the match duration depending on the delay caused.

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE:
Reporting Time & Late Entry Rules
Teams should reach the venue a minimum of 40 minutes before the commencement of the tournament. Teams showing up later than 30 minutes before the match will be given a walkover and their first warning. Repetition of such behaviour will lead to the team’s disqualification. Team players are strictly prohibited from bringing any contraband into FLAME premises. The following is a list of items that are prohibited:
- Cigarettes / e-cigarettes / vapes
- Alcohol
- Lighters
- Condoms
- Switchblades / pocket knives
- Non-vegetarian food
If any team or team member is caught with any of these items, they will be disqualified with immediate effect and would have to pay a fine which is as prescribed in the FLAME Student Handbook Guidelines.
EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES:

- Water dispensers
- Handballs (Men’s and Women’s)

To Be Brought by Participants:
- Water bottles
- Proper sports shoes
Gear Restrictions:
- Goalkeepers to wear full-pant and full sleeves during the match
- Other players to wear shorts and respective team jerseys
REFREEING AND DECISION PROTOCOL:
Match Officials Present: Referees
Finality Clause: All decisions by the officials and FLAME Kurukshetra organising committee are final and binding.
MEDICAL AND SAFETY GUIDELINES:
- On-site medical support: Ambulance (if needed).
- First Aid kit will be available at all times.
