Performance Rules:

• 5 minutes for the performance, with an additional 5 minutes allocated for setup and preparation.Total 10 minute stage time.
• There will be a 5-point penalty for every minute overspent on stage after 10 minutes.
• The performance must include songs in at least two different languages.
• Performances should incorporate songs from at least two distinct musical genres.
• Each performance is limited to the use of a single instrument or a backing track.
• Number of Performers: 1 (+1 instrumentalist optional).
• Only one accompanying instrumentalist is permitted per performance (the performance of this accompanying instrumentalist will not be considered in the evaluation process). Singers must choose either an accompanying instrument or a karaoke track for their performance (both an instrument and a karaoke track simultaneously are not permitted).
• There is no cap on the number of compositions or songs that can be performed within the 5-minute window.
• Eligibility: Open Event (16-25 years of age).

• The song list is to be sent for verification to musicclub@flame.edu.in (failure to do this will lead to a 5-point penalty). If you choose to add a Karaoke track, please add the file in the form that will be sent by musicclub@flame.edu.in. Both the song list and track (if track is being used) needs to be shared at least 48 hours before the event.
• Failure of on time track submission will lead to a 5 point deduction.

Evaluation Criteria:

1. Tone & Pitch: Precision and control over the performer’s vocal or instrumental ton and pitch.

2. Rhythm & Timing: Consistency, accuracy, and adherence to rhythm and timing throughout the performance.

3. Stage Presence: Confidence, connection with the audience, and overall impact of the performance on stage.

4. Originality & Creativity: The uniqueness and creative expression demonstrated in the performance.

5. Arrangement & Complexity: The complexity of selected songs and quality of arrangement, including the effective blending of different genres and musical styles.
